I went to Thailand in July 2018.  On a humanitarian trip with HEFY!  I went to Chiang Mai, Bangkok and Phuket.  I helped build a homework/computer station at an orphanage.  I also helped teach an English class.  I got to play at the beach in Phuket and give elephants baths at elephant camps in Chiang Mai.  I also hiked to a waterfall and visited the Doi-Suthep Temple.

Phuket, Thailand

After a long 30+ hours of traveling we finally arrived in Phuket.  We quickly got checked into our hostel then we got changed in our swimsuits and went to a dock.  We got into a boat and then went island hoping.  On the islands we swam, hiked, went snorkeling, ate lunch and went Kayaking.  The next day we took a really fun Thai cooking class.  Then we went to two Buddhist temples.  We had to climb up 1,300 steps to get to the second one!  The views made it worth it though, plus we saw a ton of monkeys!  The next day was our last day in Phuket.  We went to an elephant rescue camp in the afternoon.  It was so much fun helping wash the elephants!  Then we went to the airport to go to Chiang Mai.
