I went to Lima in August, 2019 with my dad.  We will be there on a day layover to visit the lads temple there and explore a little around the city.  We got to walk through catacombs, eat at a really good restaurant, do a lot of souvenir shopping, visit a cathedral, see the Plaza Central Lima (Even though it was closed off because of rioting) and visit the LDS temple there.
